I have mentioned that I am using the Google Fit app on my Android smartphone to track my steps. However, if you don’t have a smart phone or you don’t carry it on you you can also use another type of pedometer.
A couple of options are the Omron Pedometer, this is a very accurate pedometer and a bit lower tech. Another option, which is very popular it a Fitbit, I actually do have a Fitbit and used it for a time. However, since I always have my phone on my person the Google Fit app works great for me. That way I don’t have to carry or wear another device.
